this banshee i worked hard on and it took me around 2 or 3 days to make. I figured out how to get the minifigure inside as you will see below, and it has plasma cannons and fuel rod cannons on 2 pods.

its front is ok ,but i dont like it to well.

this is the white elite from HALO 2, with a brute plasma rifle, the handle is red, which is kinda rare, but in quite a few sets that are very old. He has pistols for arms :), I did not like the saber scorpion arms to much so i used robot arms, *shrug*.

I`m really happy about Evy (a.k.a Evangeline),now there is 4 no...6 people!:)well i have a break off school.yoooooooo!***************************I most like the fact that math is gone for now.Anyway,i think that getting off school is a good chance to get to exersize more. Happy Birthday, Joy!

Please welcome our new little girl, Joy Sa-Rang Platter. We met her and her escort at O’Hare in Chicago on Wednesday evening. She was very smiley and looked all around her at what was going on. After a very smooth pickup, we put her in the car and drove home. She cried a little bit, but slept most of the way home. She had a little trouble sleeping in the night. She would fall asleep, then cry and have a hard time calming down unless she was held. Then she would sleep some more, and go through the same routine a couple times. Finally around 3ish, she fell asleep for good and slept until.

Sa-Rang is a sweet little thing, appears quite healthy, and seems to be doing remarkably well developmentally. She likes to clap the palms of her hands, and pat things with her palms. She has a huge grin and she seems very curious about everything around her. She has obviously been very well cared –for by her Korean foster mother. Her foster mother provided us with many photos, including professional ones, a traditional Korean outfit called a Hanbok which is what they often dress their children in on their first birthdays, many other outfits, shoes, jewelry and toys. We pray that the foster mother is able to transition after sending her little one overseas.

Thank you all for your prayers, gifts, thoughts, etc. as we have awaited the arrival of our new daughter. We are anxious to introduce her to everyone soon.

When I Look at the Stars

LG: hmmmmmm....well.....i am trying to learn things from it.
BG: I think the images are beautiful.
LG: You can see the sun with a telescope. I am going to go to the moon. YOu can make it to the moon, it is easy. What planet can you not make it to?
BG: You could probably get to maybe one.
LG: Yeah. I think that this telescope can probably look at a lot of stars, but probably not the sun.
BG: You know that the sun is actually a star?
LG: No.
BG: Yes, it is.
LG: and why can it be a star if it is so big.
BG: Because it is so close compared to other stars. It is like looking at a baseball that is right in front of your face, then seeing the baseball far away in the yard.
LG: If you actually got to it and you could see it, it is probably about 13 light years away. inside the earth is probably hotter than the sun.
BG: hmmm....I don't think so. The sun is wicked hot.

LG: hmmm....Grandpa is the leader of the newspaper company.
BG: Is that true? Is he the leader of the whole company?
LG: No, not really.

LG: He is the leader of the, just the newspaper... what is newspaper.
BG: well, he is the executive editor of the newspaper, that is a pretty big deal.
LG: I don't even know what that means.
BG: It means that he is responsible and in charge of the entire operation of the newspaper.
LG: oh...ah, i still don't understand.
BG: ok, a newspaper is like a book, only it comes out everyday with stories about what is happening in the neighborhood and the world. people read it to find out what is going on. so it is a lot of work to get all that in the paper in time for people to read it. you buy it at stands or boys often deliver it to your house in the morning or afternoon.
LG: I mostly know that boys come around and throw newspapers on your doorstep.
BG: yeah, anyway, your grandpa has a big job now being in charge. that is pretty cool.
LG: Yeah, is grandpa famous now?
BG: Kind of...

BG: Yes, they are ah....well....it is branch of philosophy that deals with right and wrong and choices we make about what to do, does that make sense?

LG: Hmmm...no
BG: Ok, well it is like what is the right thing to do to your cats? Do you feed them and pet them or slam them against a tree for fun?

LG: hmm..yesterday do you know how you accidently do things. well...that happened.
BG: what happened?

LG: well, since the cats are little i was swinging my sword above them...well...hmmm....i accidently hit them.
BG: This happens a lot with you. And that isn't good is it?

LG: No.
BG: So, ethics would be you and I discussing the way in which you deal with animals. what is the right way to deal with your cats?

LG: not to swing them against a tree and bang them against a tree and not to yell in their ears and not to do anything bad to them just give them food and water and play with them and pet them.
BG: yes, you should apply an ethical system for your cats that is similar to the way you treat your friends. except for the petting part. some friends may not like that.

The Hobbit, by LG

In the Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins got trapped inside a cavern, and the dwarves and Gandalf left him. They didn't even know he fell and hit his head on a rock and remembered nothing else. Then he found Gollum and he found a ring, an evil ring that was made by Saruman. Now if you watched the Lord of the Rings, you would have known this. Now I've got something else to tell you. If you wear that ring, you would become invisible. How would you like that? And Gollum and Bilbo told riddles to each other. Now this is a hard one...Alive without breath, as cold as death, never thirsty, never drinking, all in mail never clinking. Can you guess it? This is as far as we got in The Hobbit.
